LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) — Mindy Kaling used Instagram to reveal a few of her beauty secrets ahead of the Costume Designers Guild Awards.
The “Office” actress and comedian posted an image of herself to the social media site Tuesday wearing light-colored shapewear while applying extra deodorant under her arms.
“Awards Show prep,” Kaling wrote in the photo’s caption. “America’s sweetheart.”
“The Mindy Project” star’s photo came just before the awards ceremony, to which she arrived in a custom gown by Salvador Perez to present the outstanding contemporary TV television series award.
“I’m being honored with the Pillsbury award for best muffin top,” she said on stage, according to E! News.
“Sorry you can’t shave cheese on my clavicle. Yes I’ve tried to do that. But I will accept my award because the Pillsbury people are doing important work and because I have been described as poppin’ fresh.”
