LOS ANGELES, Sept. 2 (UPI) — Longtime couple Nick and Vanessa Lachey are expecting baby No. 3.
The 42-year-old singer announced in an Instagram post Friday that the 35-year-old actress is pregnant and expecting their third child in spring 2017.
“#LacheyPartyof5… and Wookie!” he captioned a photo of himself with his family outside their new home. The picture reads, “We got a new crib! Now we need a new CRIB!”
Lachey and Vanessa Lachey married in the British Virgin Islands in 2011 after five years of dating. The couple are already parents to 3-year-old son Camden and 19-month-old daughter Brooklyn.
“She’s standing, almost walking,” Lachey said of his daughter to Us Weekly in February. “She’s becoming more of a daddy’s girl, which I obviously love. She’s such a happy, happy kid and just a lot of fun.”
“[Camden is] a good brother,” he added. “He’s very protective, and if there is a situation where he thinks she’s in trouble, he’ll go and make sure I’m aware of it.”
Lachey is best known as a member of the boy band 98 Degrees, which completed its “My2K” summer tour this week. Lachey will play Sasha in TV Land’s forthcoming “First Wives’ Club” pilot.
