May 28 (UPI) — Latin American pop star Shakira surprised about 200 fans with a free popup concert in Miami on Friday night.
The Colombian superstar appeared at Miami’s Wynwood Yard, where a throng of mostly Spanish-speaking fans crowded the small stage, snapping photos and recording video of the show.
Shakira is touring and promoting her new album, El Dorado.
The surprise came a month after Shakira claimed the Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year award at the Billboard Latin American Music Awards in April.
