Nov. 2 (UPI) — Mark Hamill returns as Luke Skywalker in the latest teaser trailer for the next entry in the “Star Wars” saga, “The Last Jedi.”
The clip, released Wednesday, begins with Luke exploring the inside of the Millennium Falcon during an emotional moment.
Other characters that appear throughout the teaser include Rey (Daisy Ridley), Kylo Ren (Adam Driver), Finn (John Boyega), Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac), General Leia (Carrie Fisher) and a quick look at the villainous Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis), who is briefly seen in what appears to be a throne room.
“Darkness rises, and light to meet it,” Snoke says during a voiceover. Later, Luke is heard proclaiming, “This is not going to go the way you think,” as Rey raises her lightsaber in the rain.
“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is set to arrive in theaters on Dec. 15.
