UTAH COUNTY, Utah, Dec. 4, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A 17-year-old boy sustained minor injuries after a crash west of Spanish Fork Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred at approximately 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of 1450 W. Palmyra Drive, said a tweet from Utah County Sheriff’s Office.

The tweet offered this conundrum: “What happens when you combine freezing temperatures, rural roads wet with moisture, a T-intersection, a yield sign, a power pole, and a 17 year old not wanting to be late to school?

“Well, it wasn’t pretty, but the airbags deployed and the teenager sustained minor injuries.”

The teen was transported by ground ambulance to be checked at an area hospital, the UCSO statement said..
