WASATCH COUNTY, Utah, Jan. 8, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Three people are in critical condition following a head-on crash near Strawberry Reservoir Tuesday morning.
Utah Highway Patrol tweeted at 9:30 a.m. the two-car crash occurred on State Route 40 near mile marker 50.
Three medical helicopters were requested to transport the injured individuals, but could not fly due to the fog.
A tweet from the Utah Department of Transportation said SR-40 is closed between mileposts 42 and 60. Drivers are being asked to use an alternate route.
