Bank Robbery at Brighton Bank in South Salt Lake
SOUTH SALT LAKE, UTAH – May 5, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – The Brighton Bank at 93 W. 3300 South was robbed by a male suspect at 10 a.m. today. The suspect showed the bank teller a note demanding cash and saying that he was armed with a gun, but no gun was displayed or brandished.
The bank teller complied with the suspect’s demands and the robber left on foot Eastbound towards Main Street with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a male, white, with glasses, 35-40 years-old, wearing a black baseball cap with a white emblem, gray long sleeve shirt, black pants and black shoes.
No one in the bank was injured or harmed during the robbery.
