CACHE COUNTY, Utah, Sept. 20, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials in Cache County are searching for an inmate who walked away from the work release program at Cache County Jail.
Erasmo Junior Garcia walked away from the program on Monday, Cache County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release on Facebook.
Garcia was initially sentenced for possession of a controlled substance and a probation violation, the post said, and he’s now facing a third-degree felony charge of escape.
The post said Garcia may be in the Hyrum area.
He’s described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 195 pounds.
Anyone that has information on Garcia’s location is asked to call 435-755-1100. Callers can remain anonymous, the post said.
