City offers reward for information after West Haven park vandalized

WEST HAVEN, Utah, Feb. 8, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — A cash reward is being offered for information leading to the apprehension of the person who left deep tire tracks in the lawn of Country Park in West Haven Tuesday night.

The photos posted on Facebook by West Haven City have been shared more than 200 times and garnered numerous comments. The park, located at 2850 W. 3300 South, has listed hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“Extensive damage was done to the lawn at our Country Park last night,” said the post, which was shared by Weber County Sheriff’s Office. “We are offering a cash reward to anyone who can provide information leading to apprehension of those who are responsible.”

West Haven is approximately 40 miles north of Salt Lake City, southwest of Ogden.
