Davis County Traffic Stop Yields 80 Grams Of Meth And Drug Paraphernalia

CLEARFIELD, Utah, May 12, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A traffic stop for a broken windshield and an alert Davis County Sheriff Deputy yielded thousands of dollars worth of drugs and the arrest of two suspects.

Deputy Kurt Dabb pulled over a vehicle May 10, on I-15 near 650 North in Clearfield just after noon, because the vehicle had a broken windshield and came up on the system as having no insurance.

Dabb, a K-9 handler who did not have his dog at the time, noticed the occupants exhibiting odd behavior and became suspicious of their actions.

After initiating a search, he  and seize over 80 grams of meth, bladed brass knuckles, scales, syringes, pills and pipes.

Two of the three occupants, both of whom are from out of state, were arrested and booked into the Davis County Jail.
