Days of ’47 Headliner Kip Moore Cancels Show
SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – July 14, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – The Days of ’47 Rodeo is coming to EnergySolutions Arena next week— but the opening-night headliner has cancelled.
Country star Kip Moore was scheduled to perform Monday night to kick off the full week of rodeos, but as of today has pulled out.
The rodeo will go ahead without him, and refunds are available at point of purchase. The Days of ’47 Rodeo runs Tuesday through Saturday, July 21-25, at EnergySolutions Arena, 301 W. South Temple.
The state’s oldest rodeo includes increased prize money available for the cowboys and cowgirls who compete from the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and Women’s Professional Rodeo Association.
The events feature bareback and saddle bronc riding, bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, steer wrestling and tie-down roping. Bull riders will be protected by PRCA bull fighters and barrel/rodeo clown Jeff “Slim” Garner.
