DRAPER, Utah, Aug. 1, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A Draper man has been arrested for allegedly assaulting two teenage girls.

A probable cause statement from the 3rd District Court of Salt Lake County said Lee Kevin Reeder, 49, is facing two charges of object rape, a first-degree felony; forcible sexual abuse, a second-degree felony; and sell, offer, or furnish alcoholic product to a minor knowingly, a class A misdemeanor.

One victim said that in October of 2014, she was invited to hang out at Reeder’s home while his family was out of town.

“While at the house, Reeder provided alcohol and drugs to the victim,” the statement said.

When he felt the victim was under the influence of the drugs, he sexually assaulted her, the statement said. The victim said she decided to approach law enforcement when she realized the suspect had also allegedly assaulted a friend of hers.

The second victim, also 15, said that she was invited to an apartment for drinks.

“The victim agreed and went to the apartment where she drank six bottles of Mike’s Hard Lemonade,” the statement said. “The victim stated everything they did was sexual in nature, talking and games, but the defendant did not touch her.”

After falling asleep in the apartment, the victim was woken by Reeder, who was touching her in a sexual way, the statement said. She was able to roll away from the suspect, who then stopped.

The second victim said she decided to talk to her father about the incident when the first victim told her she had also been assaulted.

Reeder went to the Draper Police Station to provide a statement July 30. The suspect was then arrested and transported to the Salt Lake County Jail with his bail set at $150,000.
