SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 15, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — The driver of a vehicle was found deceased Sunday on Salt Lake City’s westside after a rollover and ejection.
“We got a call at about 7:26 a.m. this morning that a citizen had noticed a vehicle crash at about 8000 West and 700 North,” Sgt. Blue, Salt Lake City Police, told Gephardt Daily.
The driver had been southbound on 8000 West and left the roadway for an unknown reason, Blue said.
“Unfortunately, the driver and sole occupant was ejected from the vehicle and declared deceased on the scene.”
Investigators responded to the scene to document evidence, he said.
