SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, June 19, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A Utah Endangered Missing Advisory has been activated for a non-verbal Salt Lake City man with autism who has been missing since Monday morning.

Wesley Taumanupepe, 35, was last seen at about 7 a.m. June 16, according to the advisory.

Taumanupepe is described as a Polynesian male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 300 pounds. He is bald and has no known scars, tattoos or facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a white and navy blue cricket uniform top featuring an American flag, traditional Tongan taʻovala pants and sandals.

Because Taumanupepe is non-verbal and has autism, authorities consider him vulnerable.

Anyone who sees Taumanupepe or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Salt Lake City Police Department at 801-799-3000 and reference case number SL26-135658.
