Fire evacuation order lifted for Lofgreen, area surrounding Vernon Reservoir

TOOELE COUNTY, Utah, June 29, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — The Tooele County Sheriff’s Office has announced the evacuation order is lifted for Lofgreen and the area surrounding the Vernon Reservoir.

“We ask anyone returning to the area to be ready to evacuate again if necessary,” the TCSO statement says.

Utah Fire Info says returning residence should consider their Cherry Fire evacuation status changed from “Go” back to “Set.”
