MURRAY, UTAH – September 28, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A 55-year-old Murray man who has been missing since last Thursday has been found safe.
Minda Birkinshaw, the victim’s niece, said her uncle, Kent Birkinshaw, was last seen on Thursday after visiting with friends in the Millcreek area. “He has a history of mental illness and is now without his medication,” Minda Birkinshaw said. “His cell phone was found in the yard next to his friend’s home in Millcreeek, so we no longer have a way to reach him.”
His niece said there are times when they do not hear from him for a couple of days, but this is the longest he has stayed out of touch. “He has someone who helps him manage his money who he is usually in contact with several times a day,” Minda Birkinshaw said. “But they have not heard from him since last week.”
