HERRIMAN, Utah, July 13, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials from the Unified Fire Authority have responded to a helicopter crash Saturday morning.
“During a training flight for auto rotation, the helicopter experienced mechanical issues which resulted in an emergency,” says a 12:01 p.m. social media post from Unified Fire.
Photos show that while the craft came down in a grassy field there was extensive damage to its rotors.
“There were no injuries,” the UFA post says. “The crash is under investigation.”
