FREMONT, UTAH – October 5, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Officers in Wayne County have arrested a juvenile after finding the body of a man in a Richfield home Sunday morning.
According to Kassidee Brown, spokesperson for the Wayne County Sheriff’s office, officers received a call from Richfield dispatchers in regards to a possible homicide and when officers arrived, they found the body of 32-year-old Jerimiah Randall James.
During the investigation, it was determined that James had been drinking the night before and an altercation ensued between the juvenile and James.
The juvenile was taken into custody and booked into Central Utah Youth Center in Richfield on charges of manslaughter, consumption of alcohol by a minor and possession of marijuana.
The investigation is still ongoing, and a cause of death has yet to be determined.
