MILLARD COUNTY, Utah, March 31, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Millard County deputies, EMTs and Fillmore Fire & Rescue workers were dispatched Tuesday afternoon to the scene of a rollover.
The driver and three passengers were all under age 14, and none had been wearing seatbelts, says a news release from the Millard County Sheriff‘s Office.
Crews arrived at the crash site, just north of Fillmore, and assessed the patients.
“One juvenile sustained critical injuries and was transported by ground ambulance before being flown to a northern Utah hospital for advanced medical care,” the MCSO statement says.
“The three additional juveniles were treated for minor injuries.”
The news release does not specify whether all four children were from the same family.
“During the initial investigation, deputies learned that the juvenile driver had taken and operated the vehicle without the parents’ knowledge,” the release says.
The incident remains under investigation.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the injured juvenile and their family. We extend our appreciation to all first responders who worked together to provide aid at the scene.”
