The victim was walking up his driveway near 4415 W. Draper St. when two people yelled at him from across the street and opened fire on him, according to Unified Police spokesman Lt. Justin Hoyal. He was shot in the lower body.
The two suspects fled on foot west bound and police are still looking for them, Hoyal said.
He said there were other residents in the home but none were hurt. There was, however, some damage to the house because of the multiple shots fired.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in fair condition. Hoyal said the victim was most likely targeted, but the motive is still unknown.
The suspects are described as Hispanic, one heavier set and shorter with a red hat, a white shirt and a backpack, and the other around 5 feet 8 inches with a thin build.
