DENVER, Colo., Feb. 8, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A Lego LaVoy Finicum, titled “Hands Up Don’t Shoot” and offered at eBay.com, had drawn 52 bids as of Monday afternoon.
The listing of the “used” item, posted at 1 cent on Feb. 4, stood at $142.50 as of Monday. The eBay listing stated the money raised would go to the Finicum family, although it offered no way to verify that claim.
The item description reads as follows:
“Lego custom Lavoy Finicum minifigure ‘hands up don’t shoot’ edition. We have relation to the family and need to help those in need. Proceeds will go to family for needs, expenses, and support.”
The auction, which showed the seller’s location as Denver, also asked people to spread the news, and to check the lister’s other auctions for “great items and deals.”
The auction is slated to end at 2:39 p.m. Sunday.
