Logan police seek help identifying woman they say shoplifted $1K in merchandise

LOGAN, Utah, Aug. 18, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Logan police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman they say shoplifted an estimated $1,000 in merchandise.

The crime occurred on Aug. 8, according to a notice posted on Facebook.

“Logan Police were dispatched to investigate an alleged shoplifting case,” the post says. “A local store reported the woman in the photo removed $1,000.00 worth of merchandise from display and left the store without paying.

“We are trying to identify this person to speak with her concerning the incident. She was seen leaving the area in a red or maroon Ford Explorer. If you can identify her please contact Officer Williams at 435-716-9438. You don’t need to leave your name, just a message of who you think she is.”
