SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Dec. 21, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for a suspect who said he was Jesus Christ then stabbed two people with either a knife or a screwdriver, police said.
The aggravated assault occurred at about 4:35 p.m. Tuesday at 206 W. North Temple St., according to a news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department.
A man and woman were approached by a man who was speaking about the Bible and saying he was Jesus Christ, the news release said. The suspect produced either a knife or a screwdriver and stabbed both victims, then drove away in a silver Ford Mustang. The two victims were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and a description has not yet been provided of the suspect.
