Man Unleashes Barrage Of Gunfire In Holladay Neighborhood
HOLLADAY, UTAH – July 22, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) –
A Holladay man is in custody after repeatedly firing a handgun in and around his home late Wednesday afternoon.
According to Unified Police, officers were called to 1617 East Fieldcrest Lane around 4:30 p.m. with reports of shots fired. When police arrived they found a disturbed man randomly firing his pistol inside his home.
After a brief standoff the man was spotted crawling in the front yard of his house. Officers ordered him to surrender and he complied.
The suspect is described as a 50-year-old male with a history of mental issues.
Police say he was carrying two handguns and was complaining of being attacked at the time of his arrest.
