The missing woman is 47-year-old Michelle Richan, last seen in Eureka at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. Richan has not arrived at her northern Utah destination, officials say.

Richan was traveling in her beige 2000 GMC Jimmy, similar to the one pictured on a missing person’s poster issued. Her vehicle has the Utah license plates numbered 2C5JW.

Richan is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and about 145 pounds. The poster says her eyes are green and her hair is dyed purple.

  1. Please run the missing persons information again for Michelle Richan. My mom still hasn’t been found. So far any leads have come up empty. We need to find the gas station she would have visited on her way home to see if she ever made it. . She always stops and gets a Pepsi, snack, cigarettes and fills her tank. She has survival skills and carries at all time in her vehicle survival gear. If she was physically capable she would have found a way to communicate with us. She didn’t suffer from any mental illness and wasn’t on any drugs or medication. This is why we believe she may be injured. Her phone suddenly went off and has not come back on. She would have fully charged her phone before she left because she was always prepared.
