Mother’s Day greetings shared by Spencer Cox, Joe Biden, leaders in Utah

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 12, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Not that he’s biased or anything, but Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said we are surrounded by the best mothers on the planet.

“I just want to wish you a very Happy Mother’s Day to all of the incredible women in our state,” Cox said in a message posted on X.

“I am so very fortunate and blessed to be married to an incredible mother of my four children, Abby, I’m blessed with amazing moms and grandmothers who have changed my life for the better.

“Motherhood is an incredible calling and we are so lucky in this state to be surrounded by the best moms anywhere in the world. So, on behalf of the 3.4 million people who call Utah home, thank you to all of our mothers.”

Pres. Joe Biden also shared Mother’s Day thoughts, as did Utah Lt Gov. Deidre Henderson, who even shared a mildly embarrassing photo of her grown kids, in typical mom fashion.

Our unscientific, non-definitive survey seeking comments from business, political, and a spiritual leader also led us to mom-centric greetings from Sen. Mitt Romney, sports and entertainment businessman Ryan Smith, and Russell M. Nelson, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
