UINTAH COUNTY, Utah, June 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are searching for information after a dead puppy was found in the Green River in Uintah County.
A Facebook post from Uintah Animal Control and Shelter said: “District animal control officers responded to the Jensen area for a dead puppy found in the Green River under suspicious circumstances Monday.”
Officials said the puppy had been in the water for approximately a week. The breed was hard to determine due to the dog being a puppy, and most of the fur was gone. Officials added the animal’s teeth indicated it was a puppy.
Animal Control is actively investigating the incident and is asking for anyone that may have information to call central dispatch at 1-435-789-4222.
