SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Jan. 24, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police say four men were hit with a baseball bat during an aggravated burglary in Salt Lake City Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred in the area of 1119 S. Glendale Drive at approximately 10 p.m., according to a news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department.
“Four males entered a home and demanded money and property,” the news release said. “When the residents told the suspects they had no money, they were punched and hit with a bat. At least one of the suspects had a handgun.”
One of the victims was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries and the other three victims were treated on scene.
The suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle. The suspects were not located. They are described as tall, light-skinned males with their faces covered by bandanas. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, officials said.
