MILLCREEK, Utah, July 28, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are looking for a man who attempted to rob a Millcreek salon late Saturday afternoon and fled empty-handed when he learned there was no cash on the premises.

Sgt. Melody Gray, spokesperson for Unified Police Department, said the man entered the business, at 3027 E. 3300 South, a little before 6 p.m.

“Employees said he had a gun in his waistband,” Gray told Gephardt Daily. “He didn’t get any money because they didn’t have any.”

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

He is described as about 5 feet 6 inches tall, and was wearing a blue, plaid shirt and black pants.

Anyone who has any information that could help the police in their investigation is asked to call UPD at 801-743-7000.
