Provo firefighters battle grass fire in same location as 4 days earlier

PROVO, Utah, June 28, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — Provo firefighters returned to the scene of a field fire they knocked down on June 24 on Tuesday to fight a new fire in the same location.

“Fire Crews from Stations 21, 22, 23, and 25 were called out at 3:51 a.m. for a brush fire in the same location as a fire June 24th,” Utah Fire & Rescue posted on its Facebook at 5:21 on Monday.

The location was 2700 S. Mountain Vista Parkway.

“The Fire Marshall is on scene working with Battalion Chiefs 22 and 25 to manage the fire and investigate cause,” the statement says.
