EUREKA, UTAH – August 13, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Authorities in the tiny mining town of Eureka, Utah are investigating the deaths of numerous animals, including, dogs, cats, chickens and ducks.
According to the Juab County Sheriff’s Office, the rash of deaths and unexplained illnesses began a couple of weeks ago.
Investigators say at least one dog tested positive for poisoning at a local veterinarian’s office. The type of poison was not identified.
The Sheriff’s Office posted news of the poisonings on its Facebook page. They say since that time the poisonings have stopped.
