GARFIELD COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 19, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved in shooting and killing cattle in southern Utah.
Investigators say one cow was killed in Garfield County, while three others died in Iron County.
It appears all four may have been killed with crossbows, although the use of rifles can’t be ruled out in the Iron County incidents.
The cow in Garfield County was found in a Horse Valley grazing zone near a Panguitch Lake hunting area.
The three cattle killed Iron County were found in a grazing zone in the Little Valley area.
Anyone with information in the cattle shootings is asked to call Garfield County Sheriff Perkins at 435-616-3054.
