TOOELE, UTAH – July 13, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – A robbery victim in Tooele stabbed a suspect after she was assaulted trying to find help.

Tooele City Police Officers responded to the initial report of the robbery yesterday. Police said during their investigation, officers found that the robbery victim, a 20-year-old female from Tooele, whose name has not been released, called a friend for a ride. Upon being picked up by the friend in a large van, the robbery victim was assaulted by two female occupants who were also in the van, after they demanded her property.

During the assault, the robbery victim stabbed a 22-year-old female robbery suspect in the chest, with a pocket knife, in self-defense. At this time, her condition has not changed.
