DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 10, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A Roosevelt man died Tuesday when part of a service rig floor fell on him at an oilfield location in the Hancock Cove area of Duchesne County.

The deceased has been identified as Andrew Romero, 40, according to a news release from Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office.

Emergency personnel were called about 8 a.m. to a service, or workover, rig near 750 North and 3000 West, according to the news release.
