SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 4, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are searching for three suspects after a robbery at a 7-Eleven Wednesday evening.
The incident occurred at the convenience store at 1609 S. 1100 East, just before 9:45 p.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.
“The suspects produced a weapon and assaulted the clerk,” the news release said. “The males demanded money and the clerk complied. The suspects fled the scene with merchandise and an undisclosed amount of cash.”
The suspects are described as Hispanic or Polynesian men, the news release said. Two were wearing black sweatshirts and one was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with an Under Armour logo on the front. They were last seen fleeing in an orange colored vehicle, possibly a Kia Soul.
