SANDY, Utah, July 17, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) — Sandy City Fire crews responded to a fire at Lone Peak Elementary School late Friday morning.
They raced to the scene, at 11550 High Mesa Drive, after an 11:53 a.m. dispatch.
“Crews arrived to the school were they found smoke/flames coming from the roof area on the north side of the structure,” an initial tweet says.
“Small fire contained to roof,” a subsequent tweet said. “Fire under control as investigators determine cause.”
