SANPETE COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 14, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — The Sanpete County Sheriff‘s Office announced at about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday that a 12-year-old girl reported missing earlier has been located and is safe.
The girl had left her family’s residence, in an unincorporated community in the county, sometime after midnight, according to her family. The Sanpete County Sheriff’s Office posted the missing child alert at about 2 p.m. Tuesday.
Family information posted said her father’s pickup truck was also discovered to be missing.
The girl “has been found and is safe,” the sheriff’s post says.
“There continues to be an ongoing investigation regarding this matter. The Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the public, the media, and all the agencies involved for their assistance.”
