WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Feb. 26, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Police are seeking the public’s help locating a 31-year-old West Valley City woman who has been missing since mid-February.
According to the West Valley City Police Department, Shianne Turner last contacted her mother on Friday, Feb. 13, and said she was leaving town to travel to either Las Vegas or Arizona because she believed someone was going to harm her.
She reportedly went missing the following day.
In a social media post, Turner’s mother said a man drove her daughter to Arizona and left her there while keeping Shianne’s phone and belongings. West Valley City police say they’ve been in contact with the man, who has since returned to Utah. He reportedly told investigators Shianne got out of his vehicle and left with a man that she allegedly knew.
Turner is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing about 145 pounds. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. Police said she has several tattoos, including moons on her knuckles, an anchor on her ankle, the name “Karson” on her back, and flowers on her hip.
Investigators urge anyone who has seen Turner or knows of her whereabouts to contact police at 801-840-4000 or 911 and reference WVCPD case No. WV26-13416.
