PINEDALE, Wyo., May 19, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The Utah Transit Authority maintenance truck assigned to Kay Ricks, found murdered in Lincoln County, Wyo., was located Thursday morning by an FBI agent during an aerial search of the Half Moon Lake area.

The white pickup truck was spotted in a wooded area off the main road, according to a statement from the Lincoln County Sheriff’s office. A ground team was sent to that location and confirmed that the vehicle spotted was the missing Utah Transit Authority vehicle.

The FBI and Wyoming of Division of Criminal Investigation are processing the scene.

Lincoln County Sheriff Shane Johnson as well as the Utah Transit Authority Police were notified. The vehicle will be turned over and processed by the FBI and the Utah Transit Authority in the course of their investigation.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. this morning, officers from the Centerville Police Department transported two subjects, Flint Wayne Harrison, 51, and his son, Derek James Harrison, 22, back to Utah in reference to their warrants. The two are suspected of kidnapping and abusing a woman and her four daughters in Centerville on May 10, the same day Ricks and his vehicle disappeared from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Law enforcement agencies had sought the missing truck in the hope it will provide evidence in the homicide case of Ricks and the possible involvement of the Harrisons.

The Centerville Police Department has scheduled a news conference at the Davis County Sheriff’s Office at 2 p.m. Thursday. Gephardt Daily will have a crew at the news conference, and will provide more information on the case as it becomes available.
