SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Aug. 12, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Authorities issued a Silver Alert on Monday night for a 64-year-old man who was last seen in Salt Lake City on Saturday afternoon.
Alan Petty was reported missing after he was last seen around 1:15 p.m. on Aug. 9 near 1216 E. 1300 South, at The INN Between, a hospice and housing facility. His destination is unknown, and he has not been heard from since.
Petty is described as white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a sleeveless white T-shirt and light blue jeans. It is unclear whether he has any special medical needs.
Salt Lake City Police are asking anyone who sees Petty or knows of his whereabouts to call them at 801-799-3000 and reference case number SL25-185038.
