5 Year-Old Seriously Injured In Tooele Co. Boating Accident
TOOELE COUNTY, UTAH – June 15, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — A five-year-old Utah boy is in serious condition after falling and hitting is head during a boating accident on Private Lake near Vernon in Toole County.
According to investigators, the boy was sitting on the bow of the boat with his family when he fell overboard. They say it’s unclear if the child struck his head in the fall or was hit by the boat once he was in the water.
The boy was knocked unconscious, but was wearing a life jacket.
When first responders arrived the boy was awake and able to talk although the extent of his injuries were unknown.
The child was flown by LifeFlight to Primary Children’s Hospital.
