SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 20, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The Salt Lake City Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect from two robberies that occurred Saturday evening.
The first incident happened at 8:15 p.m. at Del Taco, 809 E. 400 South, police said in a news release.
The suspect entered the business and waited until customers had left. He then handed a note to the cashier, demanding cash. When the employee refused, the suspect left.
Just seven minutes later, at 8:22 p.m., a man went into Papa Murphy’s Pizza at 302 S. 700 East and handed an employee a note demanding money. This time, the suspect said he had a gun. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect fled on foot.
The suspect, shown in surveillance photos, is described being in his 20s, with light skin, wearing glasses, a dark blue hoodie with a white Pink Floyd T-shirt on top, tan pants, one gray glove with black rubber on the palm and a blue brace on the other hand.
