AMERICAN FORK CANYON, Utah, March 6, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A snowmobiler was caught in an avalanche in American Fork Canyon Tuesday afternoon.
Utah Avalanche Center tweeted the snowmobiler was carried by the avalanche in the Major Evans Gulch area at approximately 3 p.m.
The avalanche was 3 feet deep and 500 feet wide, UAC said in the tweet.
The person was not injured by the avalanche.
