SOUTH JORDAN, Utah, March 20, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — The South Jordan Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a suspect who allegedly assaulted his ex-girlfriend and a witness with a baseball bat in a Sizzler restaurant.
Salvador Valdez may be armed and is considered dangerous, South Jordan Police spokesman Lt. Matt Pennington said in a news release. The police department is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to Valdez’ arrest.
The assault occurred on March 9 at the Sizzler restaurant at 11610 S. Main District Drive (3770 West), Pennington said.
Valdez is described as Hispanic, 6 feet tall and 190 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes, and a goatee. He has Denver Broncos tattoo on his upper right arm.
Anyone who sees Valdez is asked not to approach him, but to call 911.
