South Jordan Woman Killed, Another Injured After Altercation In Rock Springs Hotel, Draper Man Arrested

ROCK SPRINGS, Wyoming, June 23, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — A South Jordan woman was killed and another woman injured in an altercation with a Draper man at a hotel in Wyoming Thursday morning.

Chief Dwane Pacheco of Rock Springs Police said officers with his department and deputies with Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office received a call at 1:30 a.m. of a disturbance at the Quality Inn at 1670 Sunset Drive.

When they arrived they found Naisha Story, 29, of South Jordan, Utah, and another woman, had been stabbed multiple times during what police described as an altercation between the three individuals.

Both women were taken to Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater where Story died from her injuries.

The second woman was later flown to University of Utah Hospital. Her condition was not made available.

Pacheco said 18-year-old Bradley Fairbourn of Draper, was arrested at the scene for first-degree murder and attempted murder and is being held in the Sweetwater County Jail without bail.

No motive was given for the attack.
