COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah, May 28, 2017 (Gephardt Daily) — To the great relief of business owners and employees along Fort Union Boulevard, the suspect in a recent series of armed robberies has been arrested.
Zane James, 18, was taken into custody Saturday, after an off-duty Cottonwood Heights Police officer recognized him as James was leaving a grocery store. The officer called for backup and James was arrested without incident.
Police said James is suspected of robbing a Whole Foods store, a Subway sandwich shop and GameStop, all in the Park Center area. Surveillance video captured an image in each robbery.
