NORTH SALT LAKE, Utah, Oct. 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Part of Foxboro Drive in North Salt Lake has reopened Tuesday morning following a small fire, officials said.

A tweet from South Davis Metro Fire at 10:30 a.m. said crews are on the scene of an acetylene cylinder leak, which caused a “minor fire” at 95 N. Foxboro Drive. Acetylene is a gas used for welding and cutting, according to Wikipedia.

The address at which the leak occurred has been evacuated, officials said.

At noon, SDMF tweeted: “Foxboro Drive has been opened, we are still working with the leaking cylinder so the building remains evacuated.”

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information becomes available.
