SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Sept. 9, 2021 (Gephardt Daily) — A truck hauling human waste spilled its load on westbound Interstate 80 Thursday early afternoon.
The driver of the truck told officials someone cut him off and he had to brake suddenly, Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cameron Roden told Gephardt Daily.
The truck lost its load on the freeway in the area of mile marker 113, near the Salt Lake City International Airport.
Lanes were already closed in the area, for construction, Roden said.
A Hazmat crew was called out to clean up the waste, he added.
