DAVIS/SALT LAKE COUNTIES, Utah, March 25, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Drivers in Davis and Salt Lake counties should plan ahead for the full closure of Interstate 215 in North Salt Lake on Monday and Tuesday nights.

Crews will be placing new girders as part of work to construct a new Diverging Diamond interchange at I-215 and Redwood Road, said a Facebook post from the Utah Department of Transportation.

Eastbound I-215 will close between Redwood Road and Interstate 15 from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Monday night into Tuesday morning. Drivers, including semi drivers, will need to use Legacy Parkway to access I-15, the post said.

Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, westbound I-215 will close between I-15 and Redwood Road from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers, including semi drivers, will need to use Legacy Parkway in Farmington or I-80 in Salt Lake City as alternate routes, the post said.
