BRIGHAM CITY, Utah, Jan. 8, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — The Utah Highway Patrol says a man standing outside his disabled vehicle near I-15 in Brigham City was fatally injured Wednesday night after being struck by a passing car.
UHP Lt. Cameron Roden told Gephardt Daily, the deadly incident happened about 8 p.m. “near the merge” onto I-15 from 1100 South.
According to Roden, the lights on the motorist’s vehicle may not have been on when he was hit.
“Life-saving measures were attempted, but the driver has passed away at the scene,” Roden said.
The victim’s name was not released.
